Congratulations to the 150 successful graduates of Mason’s 1+2+1 Program to date! Some of our program graduates have found jobs in multinational and Chinese companies in both the United States and China, while others are in graduate schools in China, the United States, and Australia. Look on this website under Academics/Student Acheivement for information on universities they are attending, and see alumni photos below. If you are an alumnus who would like to tell us what you are doing, or get more information on what Mason’s other 1+2+1 alumni are doing, contact Diane Wang or Lisa O’Hara in Mason’s 1+2+1 Program Office.
Danjing Shen graduated from George Mason University and Soochow University in China in the summer of 2012. A finance major at Mason, she was a member of Beta Gamma Sigma International Honor Society and also found time to be vice president of Mason’s Chinese Students and Scholars Association (CSSA). Danjing also worked as a student intern for the China 1+2+1 Program office at Mason, where she helped mentor younger China 1+2+1 students and supported the program in many ways. While at Mason, Danjing learned much about American culture and society and developed strong friendships both on and off campus at Mason. The “Mason Sprit” magazine published a profile of Danjing:
In 2012, Danjing went back to the U.S. to pursue a Master’s degree in Finance from The Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School. She will graduate from Johns Hopkins in the summer of 2013.
