Students
George Mason University received its first cohort of sixteen 1+2+1 students on campus in August 2005, and this group has been followed by new students arriving at the same time each year. These students come to Mason having completed their first year of college in China, and spend approximately two years studying here before returning to China for their senior year. Although the program's academic requirements are rigorous, the students so far have found time to be active participants in campus cultural and social activities and to make a positive contribution to the Mason community. This section of the website attempts to provide useful information and advice for 1+2+1 students on campus life and activities that may be of interest at Mason.
